What a Bright Summer it has been!

Well what a Summer it has been, Bright and surrounds is now getting back to normal which is great! We want to thank you all for your patience over this period and for your well wishes also.

Even though we are getting back to normal, there will be a big impact on Bright and surrounds economically, so we invite you to take some extra time out this year and come and visit us! And as you know there is always plenty to do!

What’s coming up in Bright - February and March

FEBRUARY Starting 14 February, not only do we have Valentine’s day, but from the 14th to the 16th  is the Adventure Film Festival with films and inspirational talks, covering everything from trekking, motor cycling, kayaking, climbing, cycling and much more. There is also the Funkfest over this weekend, which offers an all-Australian line up of funk and soul artists at Feathertop Winery.

On 28 February to 2 March is the High Country Charity Ride which is a four day cycling event raising money for cancer research.

Also across this weekend is the Get a Grip of the Grind festival for women. This weekend presents a mix of career conversations and outdoor adventures such as caving, archery, abseiling and more, with a focus on encouraging women to explore their potential.

MARCH Brighter Days Festival is from 6 to 8 March, is a family fundraising weekend with bands, events, stalls and kids activities, so there is something for everyone. 

From 12 to 15 March there is the cycleWELL Men’s Road & Gravel which is a cross between a personal development weekend, a team training camp and a boys weekend on the bike.

cycleWELL Women’s Road & Gravel is from 19 to 22 March and focuses on women’s health, wellness, personal development and road cycling coaching camp.

Then on 20 - 22 March is the High Country Women’s Cycling Festival which is a celebration of women’s cycling with a focus on fun, fitness, friendship and bike gains, in a unique alpine environment.

So there you have it, lots happening in February and March, so we’d love to see you here. With the bike events, remember we are bike friendly and have an area where you can lock your bikes away. Plus we have loads of different accommodation options so just give us a call on 03 5755 1010.
